The Brief
Viya was preparing to introduce LTE service in the Virgin Islands and required a marketing campaign that would emphasize their position as the local industry leaders. With AT&T as a formidable competitor, Viya aimed to capture a portion of the market share. They entrusted MLB with the challenge of creating a campaign that would resonate with a wide audience, placing Virgin Islands pride at the forefront.

When you’re a scrappy “David” to a wireless mobile “Goliath”, you have to put pressure on the competition to prove your worth. This ad campaign figuratively and literally did that by having local celebrity DJ Pressure Busspipe and a cadre of well known locals connect with a younger target demographic.
